Adam Awtrey
Creative Director/Owner
Adam, our driven salon owner and artistic director, is from Cobb County, Georgia and has been in the industry for 29 years, including 6 years of editorial work. While being certified in color formulating and correction, Adam is also experienced with cutting hair to match his clients' specific needs and lifestyle. He has taken many classes including two advanced cutting classes with Vidal Sasoon in Toronto, Canada and two updo classes with Martin Parsons. Aside from numerous events and connections with top stylists, Adam makes sure he and his employees keep up with their continued education with renowned companies such as: Oribe, Redken, Goldwell, Moroccan Oil, Wella and many more.
Christian Markovich
Creative Director/Owner
Christian, artistic director and salon owner, has been in the industry for 39 years. He is originally from Minnesota and graduated from the Model college of hair design, completing all levels of the Sassoon academy. He then moved to Honolulu and styled hair there until he moved to Georgia in 86. Christian is an advanced colorist and specializes in sasoon cutting.
Andrea
Master Stylist
Andrea, one of our master stylists, is originally from Wisconsin and has been doing hair for 32 years. She attended Sante Fe College in Gainesville, Florida and is always continuing her education relating to her trade. She has taken a multitude of classes, such as: advanced haircutting, coloring, updos, balayage, keratin treatments and men's barbering. She is truly a jack of all trades, especially with highlights and foiling.
Nan
Master Stylist
Nan Joo, who’s originally from South Korea, has a background in Computer Science and Accounting, but her love of artistry and creativity led her into the hair industry. She graduated from Paul Mitchell School of Atlanta and trained directly under Scott Cole - the Artistic Director of Paul Mitchell Co. and former owner of the Paul Mitchell School of Atlanta. Nan Joo employs various coloring techniques including highlights and balayage. She’s a Certified Color Technician Educator for Framesi Milan, the Professional color company based in Milan, Italy. She is also a Certified Hair Extension specialist. Her cutting style is based on Sassoon techniques as well as Italian style techniques taught by Framesi Milan. Nan Joo believes her personalized service and care for each client becomes her signature!
Bahar
Master Stylist
Bahar a native of Iran, moved to United States in 2015 attended Georgia Beauty School to earn her master cosmetology license. She joined Aveda training programs and worked at a top Aveda Salon for three years.She worked in Barbershops almost four years. She has experience haircut,balayage keratin treatment, coloring and men's hair cut. She is excited to bring her passion a creativity to the team at Salon Arcaro.
Melissa
Stylist
Melissa has always been a dynamic visual artist. She pursued a career in hairstyling by learning how the salon business works, which meant working from the bottom up as a receptionist or assistant at various salons and barbershops. After receiving a cosmetology license from MAK Beauty Institute (a Redken school), she became a hairstylist at Salon Arcaro. Melissa specializes in creative hair color, color correction, haircuts for men, women, and children, and anything from perms to keratin.
Melissa has attended many professional cut and color classes, taught by: Robert Brown (aka “Hairobert”), Jacob Khan, Rob Burgio, Crystal Lambros, Adam Livermore, and Ryan Teal.

Junior Stylist
Meet Emily, one of our junior stylists at Salon Arcaro. With over a year of experience at our salon, Emily has honed her craft under the expert guidance of Adam and Christian. She is passionate about blonding, lived-in color, balayage and extensions. She stands out with certification with Bellami Extensions which certifies her in all four methods including sew in, tape in, k tips and I tips. Emily's love for hair is matched only by her enthusiasm for ongoing learning and personal growth. When you sit in Emily’s chair, you're not just getting a stylist—you’re experiencing a creative artist dedicated to making your vision come to life.

Lilly, originally from Mexico, has been assisting for 7 years. She has worked with owners Christian and Adam at previous locations and primarily focuses on shampooing/ customer service.

Ginger PonGetti, a licensed stylist since 2004, is a seasoned expert serving the metropolitan Atlanta area. Specializing in color correction,dimensional blonding and women's haircuts, she brings a keen eye for detail and a commitment to personalized service. Ginger is a devoted mother of four boys and a loving veteran wife, instilling in her a deep sense of support and resilience. Her passion for the arts and dance shines through in her work, where she combines her artistic sensibility with technical expertise, honed during three years abroad in Europe studying trends, to create unique, confidence-boosting styles for her clients.

Heather Bulla is an established hairstylist who has been in the industry since 2016. She is gratful to have received her training at Paul Mitchell ESANI in Roswell, GA. While at ESANI, she competed and won placement in the 2017 National PBA Beacon Program where she met many of the beauty industry giants like Sam Villa, Vivienne Mackinder, Nicholas French, Larry Curtis, and Geno Stampora. Heather enjoys working behind the chair at the fast-paced salon, where she has had the privilege to do many a person's hair. She deeply values and appreciates each of her clients and loves giving them beautiful services; making them the best version of themselves. When Heather isn't at the salon, this CO native, enjoys: baking, gardening, birdwatching, the ocean and long drives up to Blue Ridge, GA and beyond.

Junior Stylist
Connor, our licensed cosmetology apprentice from Marietta, Georgia. She has turned her passion for art since being a professional dancer from Rhythm Dance Center, into a passion for hair. She has worked under Adam and Christian at Salon Arcaro since 2021, with a break in between to study dance at Kennesaw State University. Connor is now apprenticing under Master Stylist Adam Awtrey, to get her Master Cosmetology License. Connor's favorite part of her job is making people feel confident and the smiles on their faces when they leave Salon Arcaro.

Rose Barzi brings a unique blend of scientific knowledge and artistic expertise to our salon. A native of Iran, she earned a bachelor’s degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology from Azad University, Tehran Medical Branch, while also obtaining her cosmetology license. After moving to the United States in 2017, Rose completed additional training to earn her Master Cosmetology license. With over four years of experience as an Aveda stylist, she is now a proud member of our team, ready to share her passion for beauty and style.
